Zachary Drummond

Dave Herrero

Bio

Zach Drummond, from Huntington, West Virginia, began his musical journey formally as a piano and organ student at the age of 7. A true performer by 10, he began studying trumpet, and while continuing to grow as a musician, added drum-set and guitar to his musical arsenal in high school. A move to Chicago to attend Columbia College in 2001 brought Zach and a handful of instruments to the city. He quickly began playing and writing music with a couple of roommates and formed Mad Hornet After Hour, an original rock project that went on to play some of the Midwest's best venues and festivals.

Amidst all the fun playing lead guitar in a rock band, Zach rediscovered his love for trumpet and piano while studying Music Education at Northeastern Illinois University. Zach has learned the ropes of music engineering and production as a session musician with TrackForce Productions over the last ten years.

In his free time, Zach enjoys being at the right place at the right time.
