BOSS OF THE WEEK: HERO HAZE

The Chicago-based duo is made up of Mike Hero (left) and David Hayes (right).

With Hero’s knowledge of beats and sound and Hayes’ knowledge of songwriting, music theory, and instrument playing, they truly are the Yin Yang duo. The duo formed in the summer of 2019, composing music that fuses hip hop beats with harmonies from all genres. Melding melodies from Folk Bluegrass, Reggaeton, Classical, Jazz, Rock, and Holiday with Trap Beats and modern production.
