BOSS OF THE WEEK: THE MAARUD BROTHERS

Boss of the Week is a new series where we’ll be highlighting amazing artists every Friday that work with Who’z the Boss and ultimately make the library great.

For our 3rd edition of Boss of The Week, we felt that the perfect candidate, or candidates in this case, were The Maarud Brothers.

Henrik and Amund Maarud hail from a small town just outside of Oslo Norway and have been big contributors to the Blues, Rock, Funk, Country, Acoustic and Singer Songwriter genres in our catalog. The brothers have toured Europe for many years as the Psychedelic Rock duo “The Morudes”, which continue to be european festival favorite year after year. Their amazing work in both Blues and Rock has gotten them nominated for multiple Norwegian Grammys (Spellemann Awards). Recently, as a part of a Norwegian blues adventure, they performed at the legendary Royal Albert Hall in London, where several legendary acts have graced the stage such as Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd and etc. 

We will no doubt continue to see much more success from these two brothers in the years to come and we are thrilled to have them providing us with amazing music for Who'z the Boss.
